How do I apply at Bilz?
The best and preferred way for us to apply is via the email address karriere@bilz.ag or use our application form. In this way, we can process your application as quickly as possible.
How do I see which positions are still vacant?
All positions posted on our website are still vacant and are updated regularly. As soon as a position is filled, we remove it from the website.
Which supporting documents are required for application?
Your application documents (preferably in PDF format) should include:
- A letter in which you explain your motivation and your interest in the position. Also please indicate when you can start and what your salary expectations are.
- A detailed CV in tabular form in chronological sequence without gaps (education, professional experience, other qualifications and knowledge etc.)
- Certificates (work references, highest school qualification, apprenticeship reference, university reports, proof of further training interventions)
Is there a maximum data size for appendices (CV, references, etc.?
The maximum size for attachments is limited to 25 MB.
How long does the application process take?
We process your application as quickly as possible: You will receive an acknowledgement of receipt of your online application in the next few days. For postal applications, you will hear from us within one or two weeks. Your application will be viewed by the personnel and specialist departments. If you’ve impressed us, we’ll invite you to an initial interview. This will be followed by a practical day to help us and you decide.
Why is a practical day necessary?
After a successful initial interview, we offer a practical day: You get to take a look at your new job, get to know us as employer and your colleagues better. And we can also get a more accurate impression of who you are. A good opportunity to determine together whether the desired position is suitable for you and whether we are a good match.

Are travelling costs for an initial interview refunded?
Of course, we will gladly bear the costs of a car trip, or after submission of your original train tickets, a train trip with Deutsche Bahn (2nd class). You can submit the supporting documents to us after the interview.
